u will fall and get hurt on the first day and want to quit

dont quit. learrn how to slide down the mountain on ur heels, then on your toes(eventually linking the two together). stay low and set ur stance up like your wakeboard but a little more directional. 15/-9 for me

stompin9s, i ride 15/-15. It just feels better for me that way. Why do you like a more directional stance? I could never figure it out....maybe its just me.

when you fall..........and it will happen a lot!!!..........fall on to your fists if you fall forward and on your elbows when you fall backwards..........that way you won't destroy you wrists............it happened to my dad the first time we tried to teach him

Calskater23, Just remember...The slower you go the harder is it to learn your edges. So you want to be going a little faster than you think you should be. And when you fall dont stick your arms out, you'll snap a wrist, catch yourself with your forearms!

conwest, directional stance is just more comfortable for me rather than standing completely duck all day long. but is 100% personal preference. if i got really good at switch or just rode park i would have a symmetrical stance

I mean it's kind of cool and stuff, but as for me I love the water and sun and warmness. The most important thing is, are YOU having a great ass time?!
