I was looking through youtube earlier and i came across a video that says "JD WEBB WAKESKATES FOR THE FIRST TIME!" and i watched the video. and he says hes never really ever wakeskated b4. and if any of you have ever seen The Free4All Video from '02 you would know that nearly half of his part in that video was him wakeskating. Hitting rails and he wasnt bad. but im just confused because that video on youtube is only a year or 2 old. and in Free4All he must have been atleast 13 or 14 maybe 15. some one help me out here?

I wouldn't go so far as to say that 1/2 of JD's section in FFA is wakeskate...but he does hit a few rails on Grubb's "banana" board.

El Diablo, where does it say its his first time wakeskating?... he says at the beginning of the video "well I haven't wakeskated that much" ... It was the first time he competed in a wakeskate event...

half his section?..... maybe you need to re-watch it Laughing

Webb just says that he hasn't wakeskated too much...I mean obviously he has done it before...just no to the extent of the pro wakeskaters.

I think that was from that worlds event in australia from like two years ago, and there weren't really any "professional' wakeskaters there because the prize money would hardly cover the cost of flying down (if at all). So the wakeboarders rode instead...

JD Webb is a lot of the reason I am where I am right now.

He grew up on the same little island I live on and he gave me my first wakeboard which eventually led me to the glorious artform known as wakeskating. I went wakeskating with JD a few weeks ago.
