We've just gotten 30 of these skates...and once they are gone...they are gone. Liquid only made 40 of these production tops. They were to initially be 2007 models but were pushed back due to production issues and are being offered as a limited early release as a 2008 Skate. Aaron will have a new base deck graphic in late November / Early December. But if you want to get your hands on a 08 Deck early...here is your chance. Hurry...they won't last.
I dont think anyone knows the size _________________ http://www.wakeskateclips.com/ |

LF and more companies should use the pbt bottom for their skates, like oak, seems like the right move and better for durability on rails. my boys bi woulb be way better for our rails |

I don't think any of the upper end LF decks will be done until the new year. But I wouldn't mind being wrong on this one becase we've got 2 containers of LF schtuff about to arrive here in the next few days. It'd be sweet if there were some skates in there!
And all the 07 Impulses were PBT last year. _________________ facebook.com/TheLiquidPlayground

The SST rides great IMO. As I touched on in the SST thread, it rides a lot like a normal concave, but has a bit more weight to it. The kicktails aren't as noticable as the Cassette Bi are because the SST has a gradual curve to it compared to the skateboard-shaped top deck. I'd try to demo one if you're interested, or at least ask a more specific question.
LF has gone to a urethane bottom for their upper end stuff. I was told that the guys weren't 100% a fan of the slippery PBT on rails, so the new bottom will have a tiny bit more drag.
The bottom of the prototype SST that I rode on was PBT, but since LF is now using urethane instead I'm guessing that they're gonna switch the base of the SST, too. The first run of the SST's at Performance might still have PBT, but I'm really not sure to be honest. If I had to guess in either direction, I'd say there'll be a urethane base on them in the future. _________________ facebook.com/TheLiquidPlayground
