Me and a couple friends found this gravel pit with a huge puddle in the middle and decided to try to build something cheap to set up and hit. It floated pretty well, but it wouldn't anchor properly because the sand underneath was too soft I guess. So we had to move it into about a foot of water so the landing was very sketchy- oh well, it still was a lot of fun since we haven't been able to ride yet up here-

here is a pic of the table for anyone who can't watch wmv files (che blanc)

is that little pond there all the time, or just when it rains? you could really have some fun building stuff out there if it stays.

Nice Brett! I'm always interested in what you come up with, whether it be for wakeskating or snowboarding. I'll have to check out your vid this weekend when I have access to a high speed internet connection. But that looks like so much fun...

Thanks everyone-

xboard32x- we really had no problems at all with the quad (Yamaha 350 Warrior I think it is) don't know exactly what speed we were riding at just kept it in third gear, it was even powerful enough for deep water starts

sk84life- I'm not sure if it's a pond or what, I think it's more like a huge puddle in the middle of a gravel pit. But it's like four feet deep in the middle so I'm not sure what's going to happen- yeah hopefully it stays so we can build more stuff

Electricsnow- thanks for the complement. If you ever need me to come by Yankee Stadium again to get those damn fliers off your car holla

Phibius- actually my plan was to take some pictures while we made that thing and send it in as an article to show how we built it, but we were making it up as we went along and it would have been very hard to show it step by step

determination- 3 60 gallon plastic drums, a lot of 2x6 and 2x4's, azec board for the top, something I would recommend access to a friend's metal shop Very Happy Also this thing comes apart in three sections and can be put together in five minutes

Nice pics brett! Yeah, I'll totally let you know if I need help with that... I don't want to blow my cover. And maybe sometime we can go out to eat or something...like at famous ray's. (or is it original ray's? It's definitely not famous original ray's.) In which case, I'll give you a call and we can meet at the corner of 1st and 1st...

Brett, very nice pics and video. You've inspired me to get creative and build some more rails myself.

My friend is getting the parts to fix his four-wheeler any day now and hopefully well be doing the same thing.

We have a little flat-bar but now I want to make something bigger, we have some plastic drums and some wood.

Any thing you would have done different if you were to make another one?
