Really dumb question

.. (the worst part is im building a winch and still dont know this answer) ok how do you control the winch i seen people with levers and stuff but like on some of these im like wtf ... so can anybody clear that up thanks

yah you just use the direct throttle on the engine and it go vroom vroom

Is there anyway to make this direct throttle any easier to hold and set a consistent speed. I can imagine this would be a simple task...
