Can't Believe My Luck.....

Thought I would share and vent some frustration I was having.... I just got back from the Winter Park Hospital in Orlando, this is my first time down here, living my dream... I have a perfect set up, riding all the time and riding the best I have ever had!....

Tonight I was riding behind our Jetski just like every other night, hit some rails and starting slamming down some tricks and then BAM!.... broke my Tibia on a fiznackling kickflip of all things...

I ended up going one foot on, one foot off, now when I think that, its like wow, bad splits or maybe a hurt knee.... but no!, my front foot landed near the back of the board, which caused the nose to pop up toward my upper body.... so my board and my body folded toward eachother... my front leg's ankle took the force of my body landing and the whole fall.... twisting my ankle like a mother facker and braking the bottom of my tibia...

so im fizzle right now.... need to see an Ortho doc this week and figure everything out.... hopefully it heals soon so I can stay here and just chill and then get right back into it...

parky, orlando's a gnarr place with a shyt load of people, alot of places to go and things to do, plenty of things to do besides wakeskating, and a nice brakes always good.

same thing happend to me but i tore my MCL and partially ACL. i am already back out on the water less than 3 months later. just stay optomistic man. good luck

parky, i broke my ankle somewhat the same way about two years ago trying a kickflip the day after i learned my first one. Get well soon man.

I got my cast off in 6 or 8 weeks and then it took like 2 weeks before i could get some decent motion back so that i could go hit the water again. Once you get that cast off your ankle is gonna feel real week and its not gonna have the full range of motion. I used to run hot water over my ankle and like forcefully stretch it until adventually i had my full range back.........dont know if that was the best thing to do but hey it worked Wink

Hope you get better soon parky I broke mine and it took 3 surgerys and a metal rod and 3 pins to put it back together hope your better off then me I was on cruches for 8 monthes
