hows the 03 byerly wakeskate?

hey guys, i was wondering how the 03 byerly wakeskate compairs to the new 04 one, cuz i like the graphic on the 03 better but if the 04 is alot better board ill get that, has anyone had problems with the eather board if so what is it?

Why that board? have you ridden it yet? Have you tried other boards? if not you should.

well, basicly i need to get a hyperlite board, because i had sum problems with my scape 112 wakeskate, and they agreeded to give me an instrore credit, and i dont want another wood skate, cuz i had it get water logged in a week, so i thought i would get the better hyperlite board, cuz its not wood. and the only two 03 pro models are the byerly and the cartylisk 116 and i dont want to get a biger board. so my only option was another wood one ir the 03 byerly.

I have an 04 byerly 107. It hasnt been touched in 4 months because I got a wood deck that I liked SO much better. My problem with the byerly is 1) too light . On w2w tricks or on shuvits the board would just fly away. 2) the rubber didnt have enough grip for me. It felt like my feet kept wanting to slide off. So IMO i wouldnt get a hyperlite skate, but a concave wood one of another brand.
