Today me and my mate both recieved a $375 fine for winching in a park on the grounds that we were undertaking in an activity that could possibly have injured ourselves. When we asked where we could winch, the council officers said "no-where but private property". They sneakily caught us on video doing it so theres no way we could deny that we were, because they aproached us after we had stopped. |

where i live, the cops love watching it. nick and i went winching in pond infront of the mall. And the cop came up and instead of giving us a ticket. asked us how it worked and watched us for like 15 minutes. it was sooo rad _________________ -andrew- |

if you plan on fighting the fines, do some research to help your cause. find out statistics on injuries that are reported for standard sports. i.e. football, basketball, hockey etc...then see how many wake related injuries are reported and even go so far as to try to find any winch related injuries. by comparing these sports as equals you should be able to prove that winching is safer.
just dont show the crash video from the BLACKTOP BRODEO. |

last thursday my friends and i got kicked out of a park for winching. cop threatened to confiscate the winch and our boards. he did say however that there is nothing illegal about an electric winch so somebody should hurry up and design one. |

There was a cop chasing a guy on labor day and the dude swam across th pond we were winching at and they followed him to our side. The only thing the cop really asked us was what kind of engine we were using. _________________ http://www.wakeskateclips.com/ |

Fvck yeah it was. We just kept yelling at the guy in the water to stay over there and dont fvck up our party. The cops really didnt give a shizzle about us tho. I think the dude was drinkin and driving with kids in the car or something. _________________ http://www.wakeskateclips.com/ |

mcthrust, i lived in brisbane a few months, loved it.
but seriously, you should have asked if he tickets people for playing basketball at the park since they could "possibly roll their ankles." also, australia has free neighborhood skateparks like america has regular parks. they should ease up on that shjt. someone could get hurt. _________________ www.unicornofthesea.com |

Can u imagine a world where it is actually illegal to winch? Instead of the cops making up stuff, they could actually say "winching is a crime" |
