chika chika yaaaa!

so today i went surfing at 6:30 in the morning and all the homies were there doing their thing. so this is pretty much my first time,(i went before but had a bad experience and even the guy i was with couldnt get up) anyways so i went and my friend was teaching me how to...i got up one leg and one knee the second time and the third try i was too nose heavy. then the fourth time i GOT IT! im pretty happy during the rest of the morning i just was getting up everytime and i even dropped in on a couple of waves. i am soooooo empowered!! chicka chicka yaaa!

oh then the other day i went to the beach with another friend and we went skimming and i had done it before but sucked, i think it was all the pressure i had, anyways i tried it with a brand new foam core board that had been sitting in my car for a while. i picked it up really fast and even shuved a couple of times and i went into the waves and carved and came back. so this week was almost all good!
