This thread is for pics and comments on your homemade wakeskates and how you made them. I searched and didnt find another thread on this.

Making a wakeskate is awesome because you can form a board to liking and have a fun time making your own unique board. My first handmade board will be done later this week...just have some sanding and painting left to do!

So post any boards youve made and have fun with it!

i made a skate a few weeks back.. quarter inch wood.. four layers glued together, then i glassed over it.. still's working well.. no problems.. it's the first link on page 7..

It was funny to see my thread in there seeing as i never finished or rode that board. Laughing

What I learned from making that board was that making a board to thick to start out with and trying to sand concave into it, doesnt work, at all Rolling Eyes

Good luck to everyone who tries. Its alot of fun. I actually want to make another one now looking back on my thread Laughing
