Ight I know I know this is the 100th post on boards but my question is I haven’t really even rode a true skate only one I have rode is the one I built. Its wood of course but anyways I have been wakeboarding since last summer and built the skate back then and was wondering if I'm better off getting a composite skate or wood skate. I like the wakeboard feel better then my wakeskate but that was just a flat deck that I built so I dono how the concaves ride at all. So I’m pretty much just asking what would be something that I would like that similar to a wakeboard ride. I’m most likely going to be doing for w2w stuff then tech. I was looking at the catalyst, the new butter skate and the 4 trac. Thanks

I say go with the Catalyst since you've been wakeboardin. It will feel more familiar to you.

I've only ridden wooden boards myself. But just from looking at them, I'd say go with a Catalyst. They seem like they would have the wakeboard feel. I don't know if I'm right, but the Catalyst looks like it rides higher in the water than maybe a Cassette concave deck. (This is all just guesswork though)

if you skateboard I would go w/ a concave more expensive tho. If not go w/ a flat deck.
