I don't get why people rip on Hype so much. I rode a Catalyst 2.0 last weekend and it was pretty tight. Had good pop and I had really good control over it. I bet half the people on this site that cut down Hype have never even ridden a Hype skate before. But anyway I think the Vinyl looks like a decent board. _________________ I like to choke when my team needs me the most, no Romo. |

I was hoping it would have the cut outs on the side like the old byerly and the byerly lock, def two of the best concepts ever..... |

kejoz Don't bash it if you don't know it Have you started riding yet?
The skate look super-sick IMHO. I let myself be influenced by the "go wood or home" mentality last year and ended up going through two skates. For cable riding with lots(!) of obstacles you can't do better than compression moulded. It just lasts better.
I would dearly love to ride it I like the graphics a lot better than the new Byerly graphics too!!! |

PIRATE, I had the chance to ride the new Byerly in February. Never been a fan of Byerly's boards, but I was impressed. _________________ www.kcwatersports.com |
