Hey guys,

This is my first post here. I posted a similiar post over at wakeworld for those of you who've seen it cause I couldn't figure out how to register here, but it's working now : )

Anyways, i've been lurking here for quite a long time now, and have decided to get an Integrity team. I currently have a scape 112, but hardly ever used it (i'm a converting wakeboarder).

I'd like to get a nice all around setup, good for wake to wake and technical stuff. I am 5'10", 160 lbs. I'm really leaning towards the 39.75" at the moment from a recomendation on wakeworld(thanks wakemitch ; )), but I just want to make sure this is the right decision. Unfortunately I have no way to demo anything at the moment (yes, i realize most of this stuff is personal preference, but as of now I would just like to get something "average" and work from there).

If it matters, i'll be skating a decent sized wake (Tige 22i) and a jetski as well (Yamaha XL1200).

I'd also like to know if I should buy fins. I ride my scape with fins, but I never ventured to take them off. It seems themajority of people here prefer finless. Do you think I should buy them? 20$ is pretty cheap, but I also don't want to buy them if i'm going to take them off and not ever use them again.

Thanks guys! If I left anythign out let me know. I cna't wait to start skating!

The scape doesnt really have a good edge so u wont know what its like to ride finless on the integ. I personally think if your leaning towards more W2W tricks you shoud ride fins

Im 5 11, 160 and i rode my buddies NT integ (39.75) and i felt that it was too small.
I just got my 04 team (41) and im so psyched to ride it. I usually ride a LF impulse (41) and i feel that its the perfect size.

But when it comes down to it, its all personal preference. Having some friends that come from a wakeboarding background, they prefer bigger boards over smaller boards. And considering the fact that the integ is one of the smaller boards made, i think you would feel more comfortable on a 42, or the 41 like i have.

As for fins/finless.. i started out with fins kinda like training wheels. Now i ride finless, and better yet, the integ has channels on the bottom of the board that almost act as really really small fins.

Yea i've been thinking about that.

I just want a setup that would be good all around. Obviously it would be harder to go w2w w/out fins, but I don't want to have to keep putting on/off fins just to go w2w so i'm looking for somehting that can do everything, not any one thing good.
RIght not i'm thinking i'll get the 39.75 w/out fins, and hopefully with practice i can go w2w. Still not sure though, I'll have to think about what exactly I want to do on my wakeskate Very Happy

If I can make up my mind i'll order tomorrow.

Thanks guys for all of your help. that was super fast. Any more opinions are welcome : )

volcomjake- okay now i'm not sure again. I'm liek 50/50 between 39.75 and 41. I read skateboarders prefer smaller boards, and wakeboarders bigger. What if I do both Laughing

Go 41 and get the fins. Fins help almost anyones riding to a degree and if you really don't like em come on here and sell them. You might want to try out a few different kinds if you have the opportunity.

i think there are laws against that in some states... Smash Smash

but seriously, i'm only 5'7" 160lbs. and i ride a 42". i'm a skateboarder and the 42" is a little long for me, but not so bad that i can't hit some tricks, but i'm lookin to get the TNT 39.75.

as for fins.... personal preference mate. i prefer no fins.. you just gotta learn to really dig your edge for W2W. just takes some practice. i'd say go no fins from the start, and just get used to diggin edge. Crazy Eyes

Hmm still not sure. Seems like the suggestions are evenly split Confused

Kind of leaning towards the 41 with no fins.

Any more opinions?

bahne, hey broh. i would go with the 41 for sure. just for a little extra weight and width.
the integs ride slightly high on the water, unless you really sand the rails round.(wich is a must i think.) the integ fins are really nice and they are on the smaller side. i would definately order them when you order your board. if you are like me, you will be anxious to see how it rides with fins.
the integritys are kick ass boards. i would call them the fighter jets of wakeskates.

bahne, It's all preference, having everyone list their size and weight isn't going to make you like the board or hate the board. There's guys 200+ on here that ride 39.75's.. the only good, helpful advice anyone can give you on here is to DEMO the boards first. If you can't do that, its mostly trial and error (BUY AND SELL)haha... I've ridden every single one of my friends boards plus some. And I went through 3 board companies last season.

As for fins.. buy them and ride them. I personally hated the integ fins so I put an impulse fin on my TNT. I noticed a night and day difference after I rounded my rails, too. Either way, you'll love the integrity.. I just have ADD to wakeskating so I traded it.

ahh I just can't decide. I'm definetely gettin fins now, hopefully I can make up my mind on the size. It's only a little more than an inch difference between the two...yet since i'm dropping close to 300$ on this I want to make sure it's the right choice.

I'll let you guys know if I make up my mind and order.

Thanks again for all of your help in this thread so far.
