lastnight i had the brilliant idea of cutting down one of my skates cuz i always wondered what it would be like riding a shorter board, so i took my superstar and took it from 42" to 39". it looks good, i hope it rides well, i put a 4-trac style fin configuration on it cuz i wanna build some ledges in the ditch when we winch it.

heres some pics.

Make sure you square off the ends of those fins so that you can lock into the ledge when you build it, it looks sick!

Are those pics with it cut down? Is so, props on the cuts you made and gettin it flowed back in with the rails. Also, did take a little from each side? Looks way smoother than Parky's old LF Laughing memories

Jesse, ya i took an 1.5" off each end. it looked so funny just flat at the end. so i got my belt sander out with a 36 grain belt on it and went at it, didnt take too long with such a low grain.
