I can't believe that LF is charging $250 for the Impulse boards. That is just plain robbery, especially considering what crap they have released in the past... I don't know, but I think they should reconsider their pricing...

Thats why I have an Integrity board. Virtually the same price, but a much better board. I ride the 2005 team deck, and its still holding up for me. You can buy it at their store for $245.00, so its cheaper than the Liquid Force boards.

them having their boards high priced helps the industry by not offering a large advantage in price over say... an integ. If you want the wakeskate industry to turn way gay like the skateboarding industry then keep thinking the way you do.

SkateForce, was that this year's line, cause their not supposed to do that. They are supposedly really durable. Last year's sucked.

actually, it's costing more to make this year's boards. Aren't the prices comparable to what sattelyte is charging? The boards I saw (the ones that were made in canada) looked very nice. And I don't know what the deal was with the "freezeride" dude and his board, but walton's board at the expo wasn't even knicked after winning that little rail jam.

and keep in mind that it's only the impulses that are made in canada...

i saw a 2007 40 inch impulse crack right down the middle of the top of the deck today. after about 10 minutes my friend noticed the crack. it looked like it went down through almost all layers on the nose and tail. the same thing happened to another friend of mine. my friend who cracked his today was riding jet ski so it wasn't like he was stomping huge w2w and hasn't hit it on a rail yet so I'm sure they will warranty it.

is that one of those that were made in taiwan or canada? At this point, I think this taiwan stuff is totally wack, especially since they always fall apart...like it's still not meaning enough to make a change all around. I should probably stop now before I say something I regret...

I was talking to the guys at Wakeside about the LF Control. Apparently, they are the exact shape of the Impulse, with eva grip....only, they are made in China! Rolling Eyes

SkateForce, no, it was an 07 walton, but it was made in taiwan not canada. im pretty sure these boards were just a little limited run, but i dont think they should have put them out.

pretty sure these new skates are really durable.
and the 40, 41 and 42 are all different shapes. each rider has made their own pro model.

actually, in that LF magalog (thanks, scott), they pretty much called the impulse line aaron's, and then a few riders had a graphic on "his" board. that was pretty interesting, but I don't really know how that works out in the end.

and thanks for the correction on the controls, mitch. For the past two years, that board has been the foam version of the impulse.
