forgotten flip-trick ?

Someone must surely already have done this but I haven't seen it at least.

Flipping on to/off the wake has been done by few riders but I haven't seen anyone doing a flip which takes you from board slide to lip slide (or the other way around). I don't know if it's possible to get enough height on the ollie from that position. If you ollie off the wake you're at least gaining a little from the height of the wake itself.

It may or may not be possible but considering what people thought was impossible only a year or so ago, I wouldn't be surprised if someone already has nailed it or will in the very near future.

what do you mean flipping from boardslide to lipslide? like turn onto a boardslide on the wake, then oliie 180 to a lipslide? or like doing a flip trick or shuvit in between?

ive seen aaron reed do a lipslide, fs shuv and land back on lipslide then 90 shuv out in pre pop. if thats wat your talking about

ok, I'll try to clarify what I'm thinking of.

If you're sliding on the wake and do a kickflip landing on the back on the wake in a sliding position but with your body position shifted, ie varial kickflip on the wake landing on the wake. This would mean that you would go from lipslide to boardslide (or vv) when doing the varial kickflip.

Am I making any sense ?

Tobias_Neumann, theres a video of ryan lemons doing that...or maybe he just does it off of a lipslide...im not sure

yup, RL does it in Fill in the Blanks, I think and GD has done a few (in volume ?).

I'm glad you guys got it. I think it'd be pretty sick and you could think up quite a few variations on that theme.

ya a backslide flip off lipslide to front board sounds pretty difficult... but thats what we said about 360 flips last year... so im sure once one of the guys looks at this post theyll be out landing them in no time >.<
