Winter Riding in Canada (lots of photos)

hey guys.... and esnow

So I thought I would share some photos I had got of myself and Scott (deepcove) wakeskating on the Deas Slough this weekend.... the water was a nice luke warm 45.4 and the air was a balmy 46, even the back part of the slough where the dock is, it was iced over! ... this is my first time back on the water since late september so I bet many of you could relate to how stoked I was to get back on the water....

if you put the fact that you couldnt feel your hands for a few minutes after riding and the fact that I knocked myself cold on a 3 shuv the first day.... toher than that, the riding was wicked!

While you were wakeskating, I was snowboarding at about 10 degrees celsius. It was so hot on the coastal mtns. today. Spring conditions.

honestly dont think u could pay me to ride in that cold of water, its liek 70º here and its a bit too nippy lol, looks like u guys had a freaki blast though, amazing comitment, almost as good as that russian dude haha.

sick bro, i wakeskated today in about the same conditions, got whipped into ice Mad

, the lake all of a sudden wasn't water any more. Snowboarded yesterday in 10 degree weather too, love it.

Yea, I hope the mtns get another big dump of snow before spring though, it sure would be nice. But I guess we can't complain, it's been an amazing season so far.

NICE! riding in 40 degree water is a different experience, for sure! I know when it gets that cold out here we bust out the sleeping bags and shove the heater vents into them so we can stay somewhat warm. haha.
