So I need to get new board next season and I am thinking about a wood board. What in the best wood board company. whick one lastes the longest. Has the best pop, and rides like the old 03 casettes. This will help alot since I do not know alot about the companies with wood boards. _________________ l_o/------------------------<l |

I had an 03 horrell and gangbanged the shizzle out of it. Loved that board. After the top deck on my bilevel broke i bought an oak 41 and it is a super duper concave. It reminds me of the 03 horrel but a little heavier. I like the weight but thats me. Can I be frank with you? You could probbably use the search button and find the exact same info in multiple threads thats about to be posted in this thread.
Peeved at the fourm clutter,

| I used to ride an 03 cassette, waterlogged to the perfect weight for me. Well that snapped and i decided to pick up an OAK. It has a great weight to it and from what I saw at surf expo, the new decks are as sick as ever. (May i recommend the team deck?) |

I still ride an old cassette concave, the 06 Oaks ride similar but the edges are shaped differently, so not exactly the same.
Get an 07 Oak if your going with wood. |

Oaks are good and so is the crew..... Support those dudes for sure.
L13s are good too. However, I don't know when Paul will have his 07s ready ...
The 07 Satte's are the bee's knees in my honest/unbiased opinion. I am pretty sure that the decks have the widest nose and tail of any wood concave (if that's your thing) and the PDT base is NICE!! Everything about the 07s are new and MUCH improved upon. 07s should be ready for the Public within the next few months.... _________________ Life's Kredo = "When the snake falls in love with the spagetti it's time to buy a new hat." & "I guess I need to whiskey up these corn flakes..and heroin up this Orange Juice." |

The Level 13 skates are really solid but they're all 5 stage rocker and very strange concave that takes a while to get used too. I rode my 41 page for a month and a half and there was so signs of wear.I saw Harlo's 07 Satt. prototype that he'd been riding for a month or so and there was no delam and it was holding up really well.
I would say look at Oak or Sattelyte if you want a good 3 stage, concave and L13 or Devotid if you want a 5 stage, concave.
