well i got a offer on a 2005 gator graffiti/mcguckin for 100. The kid got it 4 months ago because the 2006's were sold out, he got it for 160, but he went out of town and when he came back it wasn't there, and the place he ordered it from never called him, his local shop, so it took a month to get to him, and by that time he had already gotten a new bi-level and a arron reed. So hes selling for 100. Its only been ridden once, sound like a deal? Or should I wait and get a 2007 oak?

Honestly... Hype stuff sucks, unless all you want to do is go w2w. Essentially all of their wakeskates are just cut down wakeboards.

If you want a Hype skate go find a old motiv or fluid and cut the ends off. BINGO! You have a Hyperlite wakeskate.

A much better decision... There are a lot of good boards out there.

Hyperlite just doesn't happen to make any of them Rolling Eyes

The new Byerly might be interesting though...

the karma would suck for lip tricks because it doesnt have a variable edge, which means it caches an edge super easy, ive ridden one and didnt like it

provin1327, i have an OAK Proddy 41" and i will never buy a board that's not from them. i have heard good things about sattalyte (sp?) as well. my opinion is that wood boards are the way to go. they cost less but dont last as long, but i love the way the ride. my friends with compression molded boards all like my OAK better. my 2 cents. good luck

Yeah My Catalyst Is Horrible. At first i loved it. Compression mold. But seriously, Hyperlite is going down hill. Byerly is startinging his own company and all the good riders left. In general the skaters stayed but their compression mold are shizzle. ZERO POP!!! Catalyst is horrible pop. I hate it. Next year im looking at hampsons liquid force promodel or malby Get a sponsership with l13 and ride their boards.
Theres only one board i would consider compression and it is the gator impalla. George can rip it on that.
Plus my Catalyts is so big. ill sell it next year.

Ohh and for the gator stuff, Wait for oak. Season is practically over (unless u live in warmer area) but wait for that stuff. Who cares, THat boards will just lose you 100 bucks.
Buy hi Bi-level or Reed. But not hte gator. Anyways get oak!
