Winchin San Diego with a Hive winch

A couple weeks ago I flew down to San Diego to go to one of my high school friend's wedding. While I was down there i met up with Zak Stone, Reed Watson, Frye, and some of Zak's so cal friends to do some winching, shooting, and filming. Zak brought his Hive winch all the way from Oregon for his trip so he could do some filming for his Oregon Trail Trash Productions video he's working on. Here are a few of the shots I took during that weekend. By the way, Zak is a bro and if you ever have a chance to ride with him do it!!

Those Pics Are So Sick. Ocean Riding Has got to be a natural skate park in a away. That looks like so much fun.

Your New Hive, That is a machine that looks like it could take a beating. And you know whats kinda funny. wakeskaters go and wakeskate so the cops will be off their backs about skatebaording and yet they still keep an eye on us. Whatever i know thier just sittting in their car going "Damn i wish i was wakeskating right now, Ill go grab the Catalyst from Stolen goods later and go for a quite run"

Anyways Next time im in Cali, i want to do some ocean skating.

I was just thinking of starting a thread on some ocean riding. Where is that? OB near dog beach? Mission bay? I lived there one summer. Whatevers that was nice to see. Were there any lifeguards? I liked the bs 180 pic...nice Frye. This guy Zak seems to be ayight! You guys are animals....I like that!

Plus everyone was kind of scared of taking a little kids head off with the line so I had to test it out. I think I can run the fastest.

I did some winching in June with the HIVE.
This "swiss made" winch is AMAZING!!! (it works like a swiss clock)
By far the best winch out there!
And Mike Steinhauser (from neverride.com) is the Man.
