I just picked up some DVS Volaris and I love them. I can get my shuvs alot cleaner and higher and do them without as much effort. They have great grip, so I think thats why... Heres a picture.
...and while I was riding, we found a rope swing. I wanna try and jump onto my skate from it, like a dock start.  I doubt anyone cares but heres some pictures anyways.
