i am just starting wakeskating and have a hyperlite phriction 117. this may be a crap question but, is it easier to wear shoes or just go barefoot? i tried without shoes and it went good, but is it better with shoes? |

This also might be a dumb question. But i was wondering if regular skate shoes would be alright. I've been using some vans slip ons. But i was wondering if i were to use some Etnies skateboarding shoes, would they get too water logged and weigh me down? |

Nate20, they would probably be fine... if they are old, you could always drill holes in them to help with the draining... but other than that, I probably wouldn't worry about it. |

I have been rockin' the Kampus Wakeskates shoe. Super light and pretty comfy with the built in neoprene sock. |
