Mumble,
No offense taken, I know that it is impossible to please everyone. Now that you have rephrased your statement, I totally agree with you. I have tried to correct the problem of good threads getting full of useless posts and it has been a difficult task. Perhaps I need more moderators? Any suggestions?
I also agree with onthewater. Some people feel the need to post in every single thread. The number one thing you should ask yourself before posting is, "Does this post contribute to this thread." For example, it there is a thread entitled, "How does the Cassette 4 Track ride?", why make a post that says, "I never rode it?" That is just a waste of bandwidth, storage space, processing and most of all, more crap in the way for someone that really wants to find out helpful infomation.
onthewater is right, and I would take his advice (the same thing I have been trying to say all along). This community is still new and it has the opportunity to be whatever you guys want it to be. As of now, it is going in the same direction as the other wake sites.....constant drama.
I'm going to leave all of the previous posts in this thread just as a reminder of what not to do and what we are not trying to accomplish here. You can also visit this thread from time to time if you want to remember what it was like to be in the 3rd grade again. Also, since this thread has gotten so far off topic, I'm going to lock it now. If you have any suggestions on ways we can improve this community, please click on the link below and post your suggestions in that topic.
