Byerly?

I was watching the Byerly trailer on Sidewayz.com and noticed a 4-Trac. I can't tell if the rider is Byerly or someone else, but I am assuming that this video is all about Byerly? Is it Byerly riding a 4-Trac?

I don't know if you have blacklist, but once you get to the final credits, hit the forward button and then it'll skip ahead to a byerly trailer that has actual riding in it, but doesn't have any sound (you know, the one listed with all of the others just has nothingness and special effects). By the looks of that trailer, byerly isn't the only rider; some I recognized were thomas horrell and randy harris. So with that said, my guess would have to be that scott is not riding that 4trac, and it might be thomas. I think hyperlite would shoot him if he was on that 4trac:)

I'm very excited for that byerly video, though.

That was horrel for sure! There we're alot of different riders in it. I saw grubb and S. Bonifay to name a few

Rumor has it that Scott will leave Hyperlite when his contract is up, maybe sign with Gator?

Well if you think about it he doesn't really fit on the HL team as far as his personality and style. And him and Gator are good friends so it would make sense, and his style is much closer to that of Gator and Ricky G (by style I mean personal style, not necessarily riding style). But who knows....

Do you realise how big the news was that he was going to JOIN Hyperlite? Nothing will rival that. I hope he does leave personally.

I don't see Gator being able to pay him the salary that Hyperlite does and offer him all of the perks of being in the Hyperlite family. He does have a family to support and he isn't going to do that with winning contest.

That is just my opinion, I don't know any facts.

Yes, considering GB apparently hasn't paid it's riders - at least not in legit ways - for two months... At least with Hype he is secure. It would be nice if he swapped, but I can't really see it happeneing.

I remember when scott first signed with hyperlite, he said his contract was "long term." Does anyone know what long term is in the wakeboard industry? This was in 1999, so I don't actually know when his contract will be up.

As for leaving hype, I dont' see it. He appears to have complete control over his gear and they give him how many boards and accessories, so I personally don't see him leaving. Although, that's not to say that I would be bummed if he did leave....

Dave, when scott signed with hype, his family was definitely a priority, so you're right there....

i dont see byerly leaving cause i think he fits in. they have all the best riders and hes one of the best so he fits in. and he has 2 lines with hyperlite. a wakeskate and a wakeboard line.

Dave Barousse, u brought up a good point. ya gator couldn't pay him enough. ok well that kinda rules them out. so the other companies. LF O'Brien CWB and maybe even Cassette? LF friends wit all of those riders and good friends wit finn and wallace. O'brien i dought him goin there same wit CWB. Byerly does skate wayyyyyy more then board so cassette is a possiblity. but could horrell pay him enought? possibly
