|
|
I tried to hit one of the kickers at our cable park the other day and this is what happened: the skate got stuck at the top on the kicker and I went flying off by myself. After repeating the experience a few times, I gave up. I'm going again next week-end so I need some advice.
The kicker is pretty old and worn out, but I need to know whether that's really the problem. I'm riding a cassette, should I coat my board in something so that it slides better? Do you need more speed than you do on a wakeboard? cheers... |

yea just keep it wet. if the surface is to old, cracking, etc, than if you want-go to home depot and you can get these sheets of pvc stuff. pretty cheap. works well. get one and nail the sucker on there.
try this: try to ollie off of it more. its not like a wakeboard cuz your not connected to it so you have to worry about the board _________________ Centurion Boats |

Aidan,
you all need some rails....flying off the same two kickers would get boring after a while, eh? i think i would like to come and visit you all someday.....got a friend who lives and commutes between malaysia and singapore daily that we could visit...mentioned it to the wife(who is chinese) and she's all for it.....the landscape looks sooo kewl there... asians with their smaller body frames and being light as h3ll can flip and spin around pretty good with when doing anything.... do most people usually speak mandarin or someother local dilect? |

man i went to a cable park once and ended with 3 stiches in palm cause of a cable holding some big table... Now i'm shizzle scared of rails...
Humm maybe doing some easy kickers, short rails would get me back doing em... Those at the cable park are just too big hehe _________________

Hypo, Sorry for late reply, was too busy to check the site.
We do have a rail now, it's small but better than nothing.
Here you can ride everyday of the year let us know, if you're coming over.
In Singapore the four main languages are English, Mandarin, Malay and Tamil. The chinese usually all speak Mandarin as well as a dialect inherited from their families.
I'm British and live with my Chinese girlfriend and her daughter, so I know a bit about their culture. The other two Singapore wakeskaters on the forum are Kian and Frye... If you come over next year, the cable in Singapore should be ready...
Cheers. _________________ ...too much soul to control... |

I had my board stick on a ramp I built one time. The surface of the ramp was made of PVC pipes and they weren't fa enough under the water. They caught the Cassette and tore some mean scrapes under the bottom. It sucked. But the good thing is we have it on video. _________________ www.armoredsquirrel.com |
