kawi979, Your going to need at least a 25 hp. You might even need more...I don't have any experience with outboards at our elevation or higher. If you ever need a third on Chatfield, let me know.

That what I was thinkin I went and checked it out pretty rad I offered him 800 but said would only go down to 1k. The trailer dosent look like you could go over 40 but he said he cruises at 80 so most likely the wheel bearings are abour to explode but cool little boat. Im stuck bein driver for the rest of the summer tho i had some knee surgery done so I wont be able to shred till next summer ill get my wake vessel rdy over winter!! Smile Always lookin for new people to ride with tho if you need a driver let me kno!!

damn colorado coming up out of the blue! good to see some 303 representing!

i'm usually looking for some more heads to get out on the water through the summer. haven't got out to much this year due to $ but do hit up horsetooth mostly but this year have been hitting up chopfield a few times since the boat is stored closer to there. just got back from 2 weeks at powell which is always nice!

kawi979 i feel your pain. i just got back in the groove late last summer from a knee blow out behidn the boat. 2nd knee surgery for me on the same knee. good luck with that and stick with that PT!

as for altitute and outboards i think with our elevation you'd have to make a pretty big jump up from what most guys on here are running, but i'm no outboard specialist. you might be able to play with props tho? i know dropping my boat from a 19 to a 17 made an enormous difference, but even the boat i have back east and down south they normally have v6's in them yet ours buying it out here came with a v8 mostly due to altitude.
