yeah brah, story of the day right there. lake is vertually unusable until 8:30 on the weekends.

the thing that pisses me off most is the yuppies with their big wake boats who insist on weighting it up to the gills when the riders they pull can't even clear the wake.
like i'm talkin this new malubooty on the lake must be pushing ATLEAST 2000 pounds of ballast or more. just cuz he can.

our lake is pretty bad. It is a one way lake and full of water skiers and tubers. A few good wakeboarders and a TON of jet skis. And of course it is calm except for the jet skiers doing dounuts or when it is glass and there are people tubing.

and when there is like 2 boats out and the people driving the boats floor it to make it back to their rider even though there are like 2 people on the lake and now the whole lake is scrwed.

or jet skiers crusing looking at the houses and almost running over your rope

Or the people who dont know how to drive a boat and could cut out and hit your boat..yeah real da's

Cyclone268, i understand the power turns. Our neighbor at out lake just got a xstar and didn't realize it was the premire wakeboard boat and he dosent even know how to work anything on it. And better yet they have never wakeboarded before.

I 100% agree with this comment. If you aren't out riding by 6 a.m. the water is useless and full of fu(ktards. We were down there a few weekends ago and saw too rental boats pulling tubers, one following the other. If the one in front would have crashed it would have been bad news. We even ride way back in the "woods" of the lake by the state park and it's still crazy. I was sitting at the end of the cove the same day getting all strapped up (yes I was wakeboarding) and some jackass in a baja decided this cove need to be explored, don't forget that there were two tubers down at the other end of the cove as well.

LemonWake, what part of the lake do you usually ride in? We are way back in the Grand Glaize Arm, by the state park as i said. You should hit me up sometime when you're gonna be down there and I'll give you a pull behind our 1987 Ski Nautique 2001.

Sometimes theres this Mastercraft that's out in the bay that's a real jackass. I just refer to him as Mr.Dueche, they come and my friend and I were in the shallowest part of the bay(lik 3ft) where the waters flatest and just makeing the same line up and down that side when he's out going around the bay. Then he decides to come over in the middle of our side and comes at us head on. I had to pull my friend over the oyster beds to get out of his way.

our lake is populated mostly with tubers, weekend warriors, and new oil money people who have never driven a boat. as mentioned before the best is when they have the 60K+ rig and five wakeboards in the racks and half of them cant get up while your on a lemonscraft riping shizzle up. u almost feel as if they dont deserve their boat but i guess someone has to buy the malibu tubesetters. Cool

id have to say close to 80 percent of my lake has super nice super expensive wake boatsand of that 80% id say maybe, maybe 2 boats use it for something other than tubing, power turns, and slowing cruising. and of those 2 boats, 1 skis,
and one wakeboards occasionanly with kids who just sit in the middle of the wake, but most of the time this montrosity of a wake boat is used to pull 5 tubes. and then there are the ten yr olds who frickin get on te jet skis. my blood pressure is thru the roof thinking about this

Yeah, the lake I ride on has a few to say the least. This one time it was late in the day and there was alot of people out on the water so we really could not ride anymore because of all of the chop so we started drinking and tubing. Well here I am sitting in the tube having a grand old time when I see everyone in my boat pointing behind me. So I look back and theres this dude on waverunner 3 feet behind me trying to jump our wake. I mean he has so close I could have given the guy a hi-five. I look at him like "What the F$$K!" and yell at him. As a matter of fact I reached out and touch the front of his ski. So he gets the idea and takes off. Later on he comes up to us while we are stopped and has the balls to yell at me for grabing his new waverunner. So I thew a beer bottle at him and told him if I ever see him again I was going to punch him in the neck.

There are 2 reasons I skate at 6:00 am most days:

1) Butter
2) The jacka$$es usually don't get on the water till noon

They are a world wide penomenom.....you can't escape it.

At least some of you guys live on a lake. Everywhere I go you have to deal with tubers, jet skiers, and homeowners who don't think you belong on their lake. I actually had my life threatened by a crazy old homeowner after he nearly hit me on his jet ski b/c I ollied NEXT TO his $15 foam swim buoy. The the guy wouldn't even let me say I'm sorry and told me that his buoy costs more than the deck I was riding, then threatened to kill me if I did it again.

Today, there was a competition going on, so that whole cove was no wake, and it was pretty obvious as every boat was just anchored/idling (there were about 50).

I can't tell ya how many idiots on sea doos decided to go full throttle through that cove.

... or how about the bass assassins that cast at you going by?

On my lake there a nice, narrow canal you can blow through w/ no problems and it takes you to a small lake/cove you can hit a trick or two in before you turn around. By the time you go through the canal again my lake calms down enough to not go through as many rollers. Apparently the lake is also filled to the brim with fish that people like catching. If someone's fishing in the canal and they were there first then I'll respect them and not go through. If it looks like they're messing with their lure/bait on shore then I'll go through.

One of the last times I rode on my lake, my girlfriend was pulling me and no one else was out. We went to do one more go through the canal before calling it a day. Out of nowhere some dude is in said canal trying to catch a fish before it's too dark or something. He sees us coming and starts doing the "what are you doing?" gesture with his hands, like he never knew we were out on the water this entire time. My gf begins her entry into the canal, and he casts directly at her. She saw it coming, blipped the throttle, sharp turn to the right, and shut off the ski before it was fully beached. It was that or take a spinner to the face. I was like "wtf?!" and he looked around and said "this is a no wake zone"... mind you there are no signs that say so. I was like "nice try but where are the signs?" He didn't have much to back it up so he continued to repeat his "no wake zone" rant, and that I have the whole lake to use. I told him that he also has the whole lake, we were out here first, and since I pay money to live on this lake then I will ride wherever the flock of seagulls I want unless there are signs that say otherwise. All he could say after that was "well, I have a good cast...", which prompted me to say "well that's good for you but it doesn't look like you're catching shizzle". Then we went in.

Like he's out there catching his dinner or something...

Hah, the Destiny canal battles continue... We've had to get in a few peoples faces for casting at us on that lake. Most of the douche bags that fish on Destiny don't even live there. One of them took a cast at my GF's sister and a hooked her board and then bitched that we had his expensive lure and that he lost his rod Laughing Fighting fishermen can be sketchy because they normally have filet knives Mad
