Why not try some Canadian brands like DOA, SNFU or the Dayglo Abortions. A little more core than NOFX though....

Pennywise should def be added to your list.
Old Bad Religion rocks out too.

wow......... most of you guys are lame and i think that alot of the bands you put up are just up there cause there "punk" bands.....truth of the matter is this, GG allin, sam Haine, DK and others really aren't that good... and there are alot of Old School bands that rocked there socks off.... Agent orange, Social unrest, Youth Brigade ect.....

but for NOFX, rancid, type bands listen to the following: (i"m one of the biggest NOFX fans ever and Rancid is what got me listening to punk)

First off If you like rancid and Op-Ivy get "lars fredrickson and the bastards" But make sure its the first album, the 2nd one is overproduced and way to Hollywood.

Stretch arm strong: heres a link to a good song that you'll probably dig

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cC4ALGQL6AI
Youth brigade
Swinging utters*
Good Riddance*
Rise against *
Anti-FLag*
Bad Religio*n
88 fingers Loui*
Me first and the Gimmie Gimmie's.
Propoghandie
Vandalls
hot water music
mistfits
bouncing souls
pretty much anything on FAT wreck Chords

stev-oh, you should check out Leftover Crack and Choking Victim. they are both ska/punk stlye bands. pretty much the same band.

you should pick up the hellcat record comp cds called Give em the Boot. there are 5 of them and they are 6 bucks each. its Tim armstrong's record label and you will find tons of great bands on those records. definitely pick up a couple.

also go to local shows and see whats out there. there is so much sht a lot of people dont even know is out there. I know in the SF bay are and Sac area there are tons of great punk and hardcore bands.
