Pool Gap?

Ok i think over the summer I am going to build a pool gap and rail setup in my back yard. ANybody have any ideas how to go about making the pool, demensions and length would be awesome? What would be a simple rail to start on as well? A flatbar possibly? If anybody has any plans for a flatbar, suggested length as well please let me know. Also what could I use to pull this? I don't have a winch or anything like that. Next year at our school's May Day thing where all the school's funded clubs have to participate a guy thought we should do this, just as a demo all day long. Hopefully the school would let us do this.

I would say no less than 50 feet or so long. Cause at speed you move that far pretty quick.
