I have a 6.5hp knock off and it still does not fit fowards, but I am using it the other way anyways. It might fit on a 6.5 that is not a EPA motor like mine.

Their a new company, I just got mine in the mail its not bad. Basically the same as the comet TAV, just a new back plate.

I have a friend with i think it is a 18ft flatbottom with a 35hp merc. She said she would sell it too me, but it is a riveted boat. Is it strong enough for a tower? or not. Its a really nice boat her ...

I use 2x4s and sledge hammer them into the ground works great for me, just make sure you make them have a point at the bottom of the 2x4 so it goes in the ground easy.

I would say if you want good water stay off the lake. Spring break will be like a ocean out their with all the 30ft speed boats. Or you can try to find a nice cove.
