Classik Graphic Contest

Classik Wakeskates is sponsoring a graphic contest to be put on there 06 flat decks. For about two months now the decks have been ready to go into production but weve had graphics problems with file types and ideas. we just cant seem to find one that is perfect. everyone here on this site is sick at doing artwork so we figure hey why not have a contest to put there graphic ideas on our boards. the winner of the contest will recieve a free deck with their graphic on it. info is not on the site it hasnt been updated ina while but take a look www.classikwake.com

THE RULES as followed
1. most be original work
2. can be in any file type
3. contest entry deadline is saturday may 13th

We will choose a winner on may 15th.

Just to refresh everyones memory...
9 ply maple flat deck 42" length 15 1/2" waist 11 1/2" tails
subtle 3 stage rocker for 3 stage pop and soft continuous landings
jib base with heat transfered graphic
marine grade epoxy glued and sealed
rounded rails allowing the deck to sit deeper in the water for better tracking and more predictable tricks

any size rectangle will work after we cut the edges off. if you use a photoshop or fireworks file we can resize it. if not use this

no we dont really have much as far as logos or anything. we were using a sillouhette of a hand dripping water. we were also using the name written in Old English becuase it is somewhat of a classical text. logos are appreciated as well. maybe we can come up with some kind of recognition for a logo idea. we like good looking but simple ideas.

Slapdown, that looks awesome and doesnt have too much going on, simple, theres no limit for entrys so if you come up with one you like more

classik5onit you doing this is just a way for a free graphic. No one should submit free work it is taking away from the graphic designers who do this for a living. Do not give your time away for free.

freerider4, if you dont want to enter the contest then dont but maybe other people want to enter in because they might think it would be sweet if classik uses you design on a wakeskate. I tould be happy if they picked mine ad how do you know that they arent going to give the winner some free shirts maybe a skate i dunno

freerider4, we actually tried to go through a graphic designer for a logo. we didnt really have any ideas but we gave them some basic stuff we wanted to go with. when we got the logos they were complete crap. i coulda got better stuff from an elementary school student. wasted $75 tryin to do it. plus its a way for us to get what the riders want on the decks.

soy escuala, heres my idea. a complete blank deck. so then when people would ask what are you riding we can tell them classik and tell them bout how our boards are better than others. then people wouldnt buy wakeskates based on how cool the graphic looks. we want people to buy ours based on the facts not how good they look. i dont see why we wuldnt put what people want on the bottom of the decks?

cause i mean i think lemons desighn would do wonders to get a good word out about your company Rolling Eyes

and i wouldnt even try and enter after looking at slap downs desighn... thats pretty sick...
