Who is still braving the cold up north and where are you?

We went out on the river yesterday here in Maryland. It was nearly 60 degrees. The secret is to take your soles out and wear 2/3 fin socks, 2/3 suit, no gloves yet. It looks to be a mild winter, I've got December in the bag. Janruary and February must be conquered.

Nick Taylor, i dont know about you on the west coast, but even when the air is 80 the water is pretty nippy down here. cold enough for a spring suit if i had one.

Raven, i tried to go out over thanksgiving but my dad was a wuss....id like to ride over my winter break once or twice, but now my boats out and crap....if anyone wants to invite me to ride thatd be super....Raven ehhhh Very Happy

7-11 , Anytime! I'll be gone 12/20 til new year. If you can get up to MD B4 then, weekdays b4 4 are good. Let me know. Otherwise, 2005 is open on my schedule.

raven, do u ride in the potomac river. cuz thats where i ride. if u do wat part? i usually ride in maddawoman idk bout that spelling. but my boats already winterized

247, I'm not sure where Dumfries is, I think the potomac is on the western shore. I've never been on the potomac. How is it? If you ever get over to the eastern shore there are some beautiful indian rivers that are epic for skating.

If you guys are in northern VA, I'm in Southern MD, kinda close eh. Come on over for some polar bear sessions. As long as that river ain't frozen over I'm in, matter o fact it be bad ass to ride thru a thin sheet of ice. Taste death, live life!

Raven, check your PM box please, anyways, I am home from JMU for the next month, so I have lots of free time, unfortunatly i left my wakeskating shoes at school (why i had them there i dont know). i can get my board from my lake house this week, but i dont have a wetsuit.....so id love to ride if you have a wetsuit i can borrow, and maybe shoes....i wear a size 10, although i can always just wear normal shoes.

I'm lettin you know, 247, 7-11, I'm ridin, you are more than welcome to come, throw me some dates and bring as much warm clothes as you can. Getting in ain't bad, riding your stoked; but riding afterwards is cold, unless your prepared. I know there are some extra suits here, factoid.
