Ok, so i had a scratch on the side of my car, so i wanted to fix it but they didnt have the right paint at this store, so i went to a professional body shop and they wanted $749 for it, i was like, yall got nothing better to do than just take parts off and buy new ones and just make money off the insurance companies and dumb ass citizens dont ya. they were like, most of em arnt as smart as you. and im like, so how is it that yalll have awards for great customer service you dumb ass? and he was like what do you mean. i was like, man, i can go 2 blocks down and get this done better than yall for $200 bucks max. thats why ill put a bad name in for yall to everyone around my area so you wont get any more business from us smart folks....

Today i went in to get an appraisal on a dent in my truck. Anyways its in the rear left fender behind the wheel wear someone hit it from the previous owner. Anyways I took it in to this place my friends told me had good prices and what not so I was expecting like $1000 at most...........Real cost was $1446 dollars Shocked

(This is within 10 dollars, I cant find the paper)

$644 for new fender, with 10.5 hours of Labor at $40 an hour

5.5 hours of painting at $40 an hour

$15 for Z71 Decal
$25 for heat shield

Plus $46 for tax

integrity640, that part of a car is called a "rear quater panel" and the price is about right. it's not just pull out a dent and fix it... most GOOD body shops chose to replace it instead of doing crappy work and bondoing the crap out of it. you have to take a sawzar and cut out the whooooleeeee rear quater panel, order the new one from the factory, weld, sand, bondo, sand more, bondo more, sand more... paint. and usualy on a car it requires stripping the whole interior. but since yours was a truck, it's just as much work, 40 bucks an hour labor is really cheap too. be thankful.

take it from me guy's, i've slaved a long time at a body shop learning about cars.

ya ive done alot of custom work my self on my trucks. the reason why i was so mad was because he kept tellin me that he saw spider webs in the paint around the stratch, which i knew their were none and all i needed to really fix it was primer and the correct color and i could have done it myself. but the black on my truck was so unique it was hard to find and the dealer that charged me 200 had it in stock and the others didnt and they told me it would cost $74.98 to order the paint from Toyota and put it on my car with the new panel i would also have to order. thats why i didnt want them to do it.

soy escuala i see, its just he seemed to be talkin down to me like i was a 1st grader, thats where I got the idea that he might be jippin me. Still i can get a new fender already pained for alot cheaper than $640. In your proffesional opinion should i just get a new bed???
