That wakeskate on the picture is the first of NEW Wakeboards.
They had two this year, 41 and 43 I think.

They're going to make some in 2006, too.

I tried my friends "2005 New" and I didn't like it at all but it's all about personal preferences, he likes it, I don't.....

pipo, Unfortunatly, not everybody in Europe did know about the European championship WWC (World Wakeboard Council) and EAME organized. They held the European Championships in Lisbon/Portugal this past september. 7 nations and a total of 30 riders where represented.

JTwakeskater56, I think "New" is from Germany but I'm not 100% sure...

A friend of mine used to ride for New wakeboards and he broke 4 of them in a period of 1 month!!!! Don't really know the quality of their wakeskates but like crazy_Syber, said, Kevin Calvez (Fr) rides for New and from what I have seen he rides really good on 'em. I personally think they are too narrow and isn't concave enough.

pipo, You could have entered the European Championships anyway, if you were among the top riders in Holland. All you had to do was to get an international license from your federation and register. I was lucky enough to get all expenses paid by the Swedish Federation. (flight ticket, hotel etc.) At our nationals we had 19 registered riders so our federation was so up to date with the whole european wakeskating scene that they sent me and another rider to compete in Portugal for the europeans...

i saw these skates at the wwa wc. they look alright and have a nice finish on the bottom. priced pretty well too. i think one of the sponsored riders was riding an lf skate in the comp tho. thought that was a bit weird

yeah i know wat u are saying jerry but at the worlds shayne odmark the team rider for new you are talking about only got hooked up the them after they saw him ride in his heat so i didnt want to risk getting used to the new board so he just rode his lf board... we where testing them out at cable at on the rails at worlds and all it did was smudge the bottom a little and then the smudges with a little bit of rubbing went away.. very nice rail base
