ok...my season is over and i'm blowing the dust off my snowboard...but in the meantime, i'm going to make some modifications to my K39...i've ripped the foam off and that's as far as i got...i'm planning on adding a layer of fibreglass resin to the whole board...i figure this will accomplish two things: it will reseal the entire deck and add extra weight to the deck (which i want)...anyone ever done this? lemme know what you think or stop me before i F up my board

I did the same the same thing to my old CWB Lucky and it turned out fine.
Just dont rush into it, and for me it added just enough weight.

If you want a Concave K39 you should try the L13 Superstar. I think that rides like a k Series.

i was thinking of attempting this, but if the concave wasn't right, i was gonna be stuck with it after the resin is applied...where are you getting this "dense foam"?

You might have a problem getting the grip take to stick to the resin. I did. a coat of spray paint did the trick but I've had problems witht he paint coming of the deck with the grip now.
