Anybody ever grip their own board with a pattern? I bought a new skateboard deck and I was trying to get some ideas for a possible design to cut out of the tape instead of just gripping the entire top. I've seen skulls cut out of the tape before and stripes of course but I've been trying to think of something different but simple.

I once did a shark. Like a big mouth with teeth and then eyes on the side and the kicktail was sorta shaped like a tail. It was on my old santa cruz slasher
