quarter pipe

I was just watching fuel (Project Detention) and at the beginning they showed an extremely short clip of a wakeboarder hitting a quarter pipe?

Anyone ever see anything like this before? And do you see this in the "future" of wakeskating/wakeboarding? I think it could be a cool project for someone who lives on the water.

it was probaby from the carnival at the projects that was about 5 years ago.

freerider is right it was from a Carnival contest.
Tim Payne the great ramp builder and friend of Thomas's built it.

I remember seeing it on a "10 count" show. But i thought they were like trying to drop in from it. Either way it would be sweet if quarter pipes started getting popular.
