its been a long time coming but finally there is now an official wakeskate nationals comp happening in Australia.
the comp is sponsored by UGP and an Australian wake magazine called Boarder. it is being held on the 13+14 of August. There are 4 seperate competitions being conducted.
1. best trick contest behind a loaded supra ssv launch. The rider is given passes and only the best trick wil count.
2. rail contest behind a sea doo. The rail contest will be run on a 6 metre bar, 10 metre flat box, and a 4 ft kicker. sorry about the metres i know you guys go by ft.
3.highest ollie contest, self explanitory.
4. And the main comp the official UGP wakeskate nationals will be towed behind a seadoo, rail, wake, and lip tricks will all count in the crowning of the first wakeskate nationals champion.
