Last year for some unknown reason I bought the Byerly foam top wakeskate. I have always ridden cassette skates with griptape. I absoloutly hate the foam for shuvit tricks and things of the sort but the board is good for w2w ( and it dosnt lose pop in the first two weeks of owning it). Would it be a good idea to rip the foam off and put grip tape on it, or even possible? And the green 4-trac paint freaking comes off an everyhting including my new boat and wont come off, does anyone have a good way to remove it?

Yeah, taking the foam off isn't that bad. You can use a blow dryer to heat up the foam and glue. Then, slowly peel it back starting at one of the corners. Next, carefully blow the area you pulling from with the blow dyer to make sure it's hot. When you're done, you might need to clean it with rubbing alcohol. After that, grip it like a skateboard.

Have fun... Cool

No, but if you got some heavier weights, you can sink it to the bottom, never to be seen again

P Deezer, it balls up the glue and just creates a really nasty mess. like its almost impossible to get off all of the glue if you use goo gone.

Yeah, I would also watch how much weight you use. Since It's not actually *inside* the deck, I'd think that too much might make it spin funny. But I say go for it...alot of people have been experimenting with their decks lately, and that's kind of cool.
