RWmedia, I had to use a macheté to find my way through all the sarcasm in this thread, but pretty much everyone is telling you to get rid of the foam & put some grip tape on your board...

To answer your question more directly: Any old skate shoes will work, it's really whatever you're comfortable riding in. [nikeplug]For the past few years, I've been going back & forth between the
Nike SB Janoski & the Braata, although lately I've been stoking on the SB Satire [/nikeplug] Pacman

RWmedia, It's nothing to worry about... Use your sister's hot-air blow dryer over the foam for a few minutes & it'll peel right off, then head to the skate shop & ask for some grip tape. If you've never gripped a board before, bring your wakeskate into the shop & they'll do it for you/show you how...

RWmedia, They don't really make wakeskate specific shoes these days, and most skate shoes will work fine. Like Nick said any old skate shoes will work, or you could snag a pair of Nikes, they are soo comfy.

and yea once that foam is off you could even buy some wakeskate specific grip tape here:
www.aquariumhardgoods.com

watch this if you need:

Do you ride at Table Rock Lake? I've spent time almost every summer of my life up there it's where I first wakeskated around 13 at my grandparents lake house. You seem like you have the stoke, and you just got personal help from TNT, keep shredding dude this wakeskate thing is amazing
