So this request is kind of time sensitive: My mom told me to order a new pair of wakeskate shoes today as a gift for Valentine's day.

I've had Nike braatas for three years now, and I really don't know what else is out there at this point (I'm not above a fresh pair of braatas, because they were amazing). Any suggestions?

Lots of people rock nike sb shoes, especially the kostons and janoskis.

After that, i'd say any other skate shoe...i can't really think of any wakeskate shoes, outside of those kustoms or tevas. Byerly is rocking vans now--no more reef.

I'm pissed Nike quit making the Nike 6.0 Air Mogan Mid Wakeskate Shoe I bought 2 pair back in 2010 and the last pair is just about destroyed. Shoe goo is barely holding them together.

Janoskis are really sweet, but they gave me blisters on my heels. At first I thought it would stop after they were broken in but that never happened. Kostons are soft as sh*t so I don't think that would happen with them. My favorites right now are Vans LXVI Variables. They're mega soft, have a good weight, and the rubber soles are just awesome. Makes for really good board feel, perfect grip, and lots of flex.

All of the shoes in the LXVI collection are pretty great and worth checking out. Only downside is they're a little pricey. Probably just about the same as any Nikes out there though.

those vans do look sick. im questioning trying out some huf pepper pros for this year. they seem like they would be good
