Well Im sure its been done before, but ive never seen it and it seems to be a good simple idea. What if I used regular U-blots as nugs. It seems as though they would work fine except the bolt showing through the grip tape. As well as costing me only a couple bucks.
Does anyone have experience with this or tried. If you do could post pics as a reference

I've cut skateboard wheels in half with a grinder and fasten them with two screws each. They hold up for a couple sessions but eventually break off. You can get crazy and epoxy or fiberglass them on if you have a old board that you would use for lock-in tricks.
For those who aren't into all that check out the WM lockin fins. George Daniels and Danny Hampson have been shredding them, Hooks won toe jam with them last year, and the WM team uses them
