Someone is making a conscious effort to put something back towards their country and all you have is negativity. I may be from another country, but I only have respect for my friends and relatives that have put in time for the armed forces. How are thousands of cops in other US STATES protecting you at night? Idiot. Everyone is where they are for a reason. Again, no one is forcing you to live here.

Think of all the individuals who don't have the opportunities we do. Some of these soldiers couldn't afford to live, to go to school/college, or support their families. Some people have to choose between joining a gang or the army. The military helps get their lives on track, pays for college and takes care of you for the rest of your life after only 4 years of service. (What kind of benefits do you get at walmart, Zack?) At the same time, they know exactly what they are signing up for: to risk their lives to protect a country they love and unfortunately morons like you.

Can you remind us one more time why you are still here?

This will be my last post on wakeskating.com for a good long while, and that will extend past boot camp. A simple post thanking everyone on here for entertainment and good times turned into a multi thread discussion in which like most other threads these days, turn into personal attacks which is just fiznackling retarded.

We have armed forces for the protection of the country as a whole. Police protect the individuals... most people don't break the law because the fear of the punishment, others are fine with going to prison. Most terrorist/U.S. enemies don't attack us for fear of the punishment/invasion... others are fine with burning in hell.

Without the coast guard our waterways would be full of AK slinging drug runners... and you can kiss your ass goodbye if you ever on a large boat that is sinking in the open ocean.

Without the Navy any ship could be blown out of the water, threatening out supply of cheap chinese winch motors and other things we need from other countries that we can't effectively produce here.

Without the Army/Marines there would be who knows how many attacks on U.S. soil. When they are overseas, they keep the peace from threats to evolve to attacks... not to mention if the U.S. wasn't involved in WW2, who knows what would become of the Jews... and i know everyone loves Jon Stewart.

The air force aids all the other branches, destroying things without putting american lives in danger, helping troops when they are under heavy fire. and the blue angles are pretty bitchin' too

If you don't like the way things are either contact your representative of run for office yourself... just let me know because i will be moving to canada to aviod attacks on the U.S. soil.
