|
|
Just as the title says. I just purchased an Integrity wakeskate without fins and noticed that Integrity is out of fins on the website. Also found out that the fins that are on all of my Hyperlite and Byerly wakeskates will not work either. What other fins will work? Any input would be greatly appreciated. |

Too Many Wakeskates, any fin will work as long as it has two set screws and one longer 1/4 x 20 size screw. This is a pretty common pattern for fins, especially if you look at fins from 5+ years ago. If you have a pro shop nearby they might have leftover fins that they will sell you for cheap. Here is a pic that shows what the hole pattern looks like-
If you don't have a shop near you, here's where you can get a pair of 0.7" wakeskate fins http://www.boardstop.com/product_info.php?cPath=67_75&products_id=2679 _________________ facebook.com/TheLiquidPlayground

Thanks for the input. I actually ordered some CDI fins yesterday from the boardstop. the same ones in your link. Not too crazy about the price but I do need them because most of what we do is behind the boat. |

If I was doing surface stuff behind a jet ski or rails definately, but most of what we do here because of our lake restrictions is behind the boat. Doing w2w stuffa small fin definately helps. The CDI fins look very similar to the Hyperlite blunt fins which I love because they don't add a whole of tracking. Just enough which is perfect for behind the boat w2w. |

I think most wakeboard fins have a similar design with the single skrew |

the cdi wakeskate fin is nothing like the blunt fin. size wise yes, but it's more like the shank fin b/c it's flat. i like it more than the blunt or shank. _________________ "I said take me to the sea, cause that is where I want to be. My bad, your right. I got the blunt and the shank mixed up but I was thinking of the shank fin. I think it is a great fin because it offers just the right amount of tracking if doing w2w stuff, at least for me. |
