like you got that man, i fell the same way for forever man.
here is my little thing that might help!
you catch the board amazing, thats not the prob, after you catch the deck, turn your head and either look at the shore line or kinda turn your head to your right shoulder.... It will get that weight off your left foot and prevent you from slippin out like that.
