Is there any other purpose for these other than for rails? I don't really understand them

Nope

The only purpose for nugs is to lock into grinds and slides.

no go alliance and check out a vid of stephen campbell hitting the box at owc with some accessory fins. it's pretty dirty. and i think kyle walton has a sick pic of him doing a nose grind on a flat rail.

David_Roehm, I was just wondering if their only really good for locking into slides. Pretty much wondering if they compare to a fin just riding boat or ski

lumpy pants, you probobly wouldn't want them on your board unless your doing a rail set.

Who bigger guy who rides a new at OWC a lot and hes always got some udder/skate bumps on his skate. Anyways the skate bumps don't seem the phase this guys riding at all.
