wakeskating in xgames

are they gonna have wakeskating in the xgames? i know they have wakeboarding but are they gonna open a new sport up for wakeskating?

not for a while X games is kinda gay that way, look how long wakeboarding was around before it was in

probably not. as it is wakeboarding doesnt get a whole lot of coverage, so even if it was in the x games, you probably wouldnt ever see it on tv.

i'm anti x gaymes and espn, but wakeboarding and wakeskating kinda suites it. forget the xgames and pro tours and the like, they should just stick with toe jams.

i think wakeskating belongs on the x games, but even with how big wakeboarding is last year they only showed two runs. I would like to see more wakeboarding on the x games but I dont think its going to happen for a while. maybe in a couple years they will have one wakeskate run.

I think the X-Games are a good thing. It gets wakeskating publicity and for those pros that win it it gets them publicity and money,m which in my opinion is a good thing.

I think people need to be able to pull off some sicker tricks b4 its gets into it... i mean the sport is still so young, sure some people can do some varial flips or like frontside flips, but im sure the x-games are gunna want some stuff like a w2w varial flip or some like 360 shuv its w2w... Confused

I doubt it would be any good, but I am not opposed to seeing it on the X-Games. Everytime I've ever seen any tournament coverage of wakeboarding or wakeskating, it doesn't look the least bit interestingor true to the sport. They always ride in the crappiest choppy water and everyone is in a hurry to get the most tricks in. On a wakeskate that pretty much means you will fall on every trick. The TV coverage for me always makes it confusing with the constant camera changes. It will take a while before TV production gets a feel for this kind of sport. In a larger sense, it is nice to see something getting more popular, it helps expand and solidify our sport.
