So in the early to mid summer I built (with help from alot of differnt friends) a nice little mini ramp on the side of my house. Didn't really get it all done and dialed in until a month ago. But now I love it so much! Come home from work and shread for and hour or so... I love it so much, I've never had so much fun skating, learning new tricks (i'm not that good anyway, so the little thing new for me makes it that much more fun!) and just getting a good workout...
So, the real reason I wanted to talk about my mini ramp is I used this sealant stuff called skate paint. www.skatepaint.com
wierd yet neat stuff. So Zak why are you telling us this? After you speard it out and it drys. Add water and it's like hitting a new rail at OWC, slick as snot! You can buy a can for about $90 and paint about oh about 8 sheets of 4x8 ply wood. Trex deck would be way more in cost. but you can reuse trex. but you can also reuse the wood you paint!
I'll let you know if we run into problems, but so far it's been real good!
Now, off to bed so I can hit the mini up before work tomorrow!!

| Its also in the wrong forum and skate paint is expensive. You can get spar urthane or urthane porch paint for the same results. |
