i know doing a split (front foot stays on back catches in water) in wakeskating is common and ive done them a lot. but usually it only hurts my knee or groin so i can keep riding. but last week it happened and i stressed some ligaments in my front ankle. i couldnt even put pressure on it at first but now i can walk but im still having trouble with certain stuff. has this happened to anyone and if so how long was it till you were back out? i just dont wanna go out to soon and mess it up more.

i feel ur pain, i did a split on my skateboard around christmas and it still hurts me cuz i went skating the next day. to save much pain, aggrivation, and lost riding time, you might wanna stay off it for a while.
