Ok so we're installing the TAV2 on the engine today and it says in the instructions that "the flat side faces on the drive and driven should align if they do not adjust spacing on crankshaft". If they don't align then how do I adjust it to make it align ?

I have the spacer on and everything is in place like the instructions say but the 2 flat faced parts don't line up exactly

Use washers. I had that same problem with my Robin Subaru engine and I used washers for a 1" axel. Just dig around the box bc you can find any combination of thickness that you need. I also had to get a longer or short bolt to hold the drive unit on the engine PTO. I can't remember which one. I think longer. Good luck...

I had the same thing on my Briggs. I had to take a little off the spacer to make em line up.
